Nothing says summer like a summer jam. So when the barbecue parties start to wind down, and the kids start holding up their back-to-school signs, you know it’s time to retire the summer tunes—But that doesn’t mean the playlist has to end.
We spoke with people in and around CtrCity Anaheim to find out what’s on their end-of-summer playlist: whether new or old classic rock or emerging rap, the musical tastes we found in CtrCity are just as diverse as you would expect.

“There are several of us who work here and everyone chooses what they play. I’m really into post-hardcore and indie. Right now, I’m listening to an L.A. band called Touchė Amorė. One of their albums To the Beat of a Dead Horse just hit its tenth anniversary. They’ve rerecorded it and I’ve been listening to that on Spotify.”

“I’m listening to ‘On Chill’ by Wale it’s his newest single. And Jacquess. I’m more like R&B and Hip-Hop for sure. I definitely like ‘90s hip-hop too.”
